AGENCY PROMOTION
Whenever my old agency needed promotional material, responsibility for ideas usually fell to me. In the case of these videos, so did the scripting, shooting, and editing. These are some of my favorites. They range from event sponsorships to microdocs about my colleagues to an inscrutable social campaign.
Business Anniversary Video
I had a great time making this internal video to help the good people at Sands Drywall celebrate the company's 20th anniversary.
We interviewed the owners, and then shot “dramatic” reenactments inspired by those conversations, starring members of the Sands Drywall team.
I conducted the interviews, co-directed the reenactments, and crafted the narrative for our video editor.
STICKER VENDING MACHINE
One time, I convinced my co-workers to go in on a sticker vending machine for our office that I found on eBay. I drove 700 miles round trip in one day to pick it up. A designer on our team and I updated the machine’s artwork, curated the vending slots, and watched a lot of YouTube videos about sticker vending machine maintenance. I also wrote and produced 30 minutes of radio spots promoting it for a multimedia art show.
